David Toop

David Toop (n, 5 de Mayo 1949) es un musico, escritor y creador ingles. Fue miembro de The Flying Lizards. Ha escrito varios articulos para las revistasThe Face y The Wire

Inicio estudios en 1967 en el Hornsey College of Art.Early years

Toop se dio a conocer por su libro Rap Attack en 1984. 11 años despues aparece "Ocean of Sound " que crea una historia de musica "ambient" remontandola a Debussy (no lo he leido). Desde los 70s, Toop ha desarrollado una carrera como creador al lado de artistas como Max Eastley, Brian Eno, Scanner. En el 2001Toop fue el curador de la exposicion Sonic Boom, y en 2002 fue curador del CD doble "Not Necessarily Enough English Music: A Collection of Experimental Music from Great Britain, 1960-1977."
